About Becky

Becky Chase is a millennial-aged voiceover professional from the beautiful coast of Maine.

Are you looking for a voice artist similar to your sister’s cool best friend from college? Perhaps you need a constructive thinker, a reliable, even-tempered individual who people feel at ease working with? Or maybe you need a more erudite, educated voiceover pro who can meet your needs for an e-learning or corporate narration project.

Whatever your voiceover needs, you’ve come to the right place.

Becky first took acting classes as a sophomore at Goucher College where she fell in love with the art form and its many fascinating methods and schools of thought. She has received further acting and voiceover training from a number of wonderful coaches over the years, including Kim Handysides, Rachel Alena, Carol Monda for audiobook, Catlin Adams for on-camera, and improv at UCB Theatre in LA.

Becky has continued to develop her skills since then and takes immense joy in applying her acting talent to voiceover work. In recent times, she played numerous voiceover roles in the soap podcast Restless Shores, ranging from a polished defense attorney, to a street-smart troubled teen, to a warm and kindly nurse.

After Becky completed a master’s degree in History, she worked in various media productions, including historical documentaries for History Channel and a reality TV series for Animal Planet. She has seen first-hand the process of creating these shows and appreciates the importance of each cog in the wheel, so to speak.

More recently, Becky has worked for several years in the field of International Education, helping young people around the globe obtain visas for training programs in the United States. Speaking with applicants of varying levels of English on a daily basis has helped hone her sense of pacing, rhythm, and articulation for voiceover work.

In her spare time, Becky enjoys jogging, ballet, and painting abstracts with ink, origami, and acrylic. She has also illustrated and published two Maine-themed coloring books. Find out more about her artistic practice here.

So… whether it’s your friendly everyday chitchat, emotive storytelling, offbeat characters, or corporate texts, Becky is comfortable handling scripts for a variety of voiceover genres and audiences.

Bring your audio project to life with Becky’s sassy, youthful, and relatable sound.
